Last night, we were proud to team up with Young Involved Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, TreePhilly and Greensgrow Farms to talk all things cleaning and greening in Philly - from how to get involved on your block and in your neighborhood, to City government and nonprofit programs and resources available to residents and community based organizations.

Yesterday’s workshop demonstrated one of the many reasons we love Philly: a whole lot of dedicated individuals and public servants in a room talking about what they can do to improve their neighborhood.

We encourage you to check out all that our partners have to offer:

(1) PHS’s many wonderful programs, including Tree Tenders and Garden Tenders

(2) Greensgrow’s CSA and nursery

(3) TreePhilly’s yard tree giveaways, and street tree program

(4) Keep Philly Beautiful’s in-classroom presentations on litter, recycling and composting, and Community Cleanup Resource Guide

And of course, a big thank you to everyone who was able to join us last night, and to our sponsors Philly FoodWorks and The Philadelphia Citizen.

So now, let’s get to work!
