November 12, 2019 – Join Keep Philadelphia Beautiful, the Philadelphia Streets Department, the Philadelphia Water Department, Mural Arts’ Trash Academy, and area partners on Friday, November 15th, from 11:00a to 1:00p at the Municipal Services Building (MSB) Public Service Concourse to celebrate America Recycles Day!

America Recycles Day is a Keep America Beautiful initiative to promote recycling and improve recycling habits across the country. Philly’s MSB Concourse will be buzzing with activities to celebrate our commitment to recycling, including a bin giveaway (while supplies last) and recycling games and prizes!

Refresh your skills on how to properly recycle, learn how “recycling right” affects our health, the environment and the City, and explore the “second life” of everyday objects after you recycle them.

Already trying to reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle in your day-to-day life? Take the #BeRecycled Pledge at Keep Philadelphia Beautiful’s table and promise to:

  • Recycle at home, work/school and on the go;
  • Buy products made with recycled content; and
  • Educate and encourage friends, family and neighbors to take the #BeRecycled Pledge
