We are undividedly in support of those protesting and calling for justice for the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless other unnamed black men, women, and children killed by racist acts and failed by a broken system.



                                             

 

The recognition of Juneteenth as a national holiday is an important milestone on the way to acknowledging the trauma and injustice America’s black communities have faced, but we have many more miles to go.

 

Access to a Beautiful Philadelphia is something that every resident should equally benefit from. KPB’s board and staff are currently reviewing our goals, priorities, and processes for our beautification work. We accept that there are inherent inequalities in our work that need to be addressed and that we must commit to promoting racial justice and equity in all the ways we can.
