Spring into spring with #KeepPhillyBeautiful!

Although the cold weather has (sadly) yet to leave us, today marks the first day of Spring. Here at KPB, we’re celebrating the changing seasons with three upcoming city greening events – and you’re invited to join in the fun!

March 30 we’ll be happy hour-ing it up with Repair the World: Philadelphia alongside the fine folks at Recyclebank, Bennett Compost, and more. Head over to 4029 Market Street at 6 p.m. for discounted food, beverages (alcoholic or soft) and to learn about what local organizations are doing to reduce waste in our city.

To kick off April, the Streets Department will hold its 10th annual Philly Spring Cleanup. We’ll be doing our part at the Hunting Park Rec. Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Swing by April 8 for a chance to get your hands dirty in the orchard and to help keep Philadelphia’s streets beautiful.

On Earth Day (April 22), join members of KPB, the Nature Conservancy and the Nationalities Service Center at 10 a.m. on 25th and Reed Streets for a neighborhood tour/ cleanup. What better way to celebrate our planet than to catch some fresh air and help take litter off our streets?

Check out all of the details for our Repair the World Happy Hour, Philly Spring Cleanup and Earth Day Funtimes – and help spread the word. The more the merrier!

We’ll see you out and about this Spring!
